One of my goals in testing the Glock 43 is to ensure that it can handle any 9mm ammunition I choose to put through it. In today’s range test, I was able to put a few rounds of PolyCase Inceptor ARX 9mm ammunition through the pistol.

If you spend any time on gun-related sites, there is a good chance you have been hearing a lot about this ammo. The heart of the round is the highly recognizable, lead-free, copper-polymer ARX bullet with “flutes” in the nose. These flutes are designed to transfer both rotational and directional force for rapid energy transfer to the target.

So, here’s the thing… the goal of this range test was simply to determine how ARX ammunition feeds through the Glock 43. After all, the unique design of the bullet does make a person wonder. That being said, you are probably going to want to know more about the ARX round than what is covered in this review. Below I have included a great video from PolyCase that discusses their ammunition and what makes it so unique. I also encourage you to watch some of the PolyCase reviews on YouTube. Based on the reviews I have watched, this ammo is producing some very impressive results in gel penetration tests.

So, how did the ammo perform in the Glock 43? It fed perfectly!  I also felt as if there was a reduction in recoil, when compared to other 9mm ammo. The following target shows all 25 rounds fired. The shots in the upper right quadrant include my first 5 shots. After those, I was able to keep most shots in a pretty tight group in the center. All shots were fired from a standing position.

As I said, I encourage you to watch some of the penetration tests that have been performed on this ammo. Based on those, as well as my experience with it, I would definitely feel comfortable carrying PolyCase ARX ammunition in the Glock 43.
