Wilson Combat Takes Home World Division Championship Titles
BERRYVILLE, AR. – (ArmsVault) – At the 2023 IDPA World Championship held October 12th-16th, team Wilson Combat brought home two World Division Championship Titles.
Glenn Shelby, a Distinguished Master IDPA shooter and member of the Wilson Combat Shooting Team since 2007, won the World Champion Title in the CDP Division. Glenn is an 11 Time National Champion as well as now a 4 Time World Champion. He competes with a Wilson Combat CQB Elite in .45 ACP.
Austin Proulx, also a Distinguished Master IDPA shooter and member of the WC Shooting Team since 2014, took home the World Champion CCP Division. This is Austin’s 1st World Champion win, he was also the 2021 National Championship CCP recipient. He competed with his SFT9 chambered in 9mm.

The IDPA World Championship match hosted approximately 400 shooters that competed in 15 stages over three days of fierce competition as they performed defensive shooting situations at the Civilian Marksmanship Park in Talladega, AL.
