Safariland and Bianchi Announce Holster Fits
for New Glock Gen5 Pistols
A collection of duty, tactical and concealment holsters to complement the new firearm
ONTARIO, Calif. – (ArmsVault.com) – Safariland® and Bianchi® today announced the release of a wide array of holster fits for duty, tactical and concealed carry use for the new Glock Gen5 handguns. Working closely with Glock, the teams at Safariland and Bianchi engineered a full complement of top-selling holsters ranging from the Safariland traditional thermal formed holsters, the 7TS™ collection, the GLS™ Pro-Fit™ series to Bianchi’s premium grade leather holsters.

All current magazine pouches and Bianchi holsters fit the new Glock pistols and the Company is revising the tooling on some older, but still popular Safariland holsters to fit the new Gen5.
The 7TS series of holsters available for Glock Gen5 handguns feature Safariland’s proprietary SafariSeven™ material. The best-selling 7TS models are available in open-top with ALS® retention for the 7390, SLS retention for the 7280, and ALS/SLS retention for the 7360. Tactical variants are also available in any combination with and without light.
For those seeking an open-top concealment holster with excellent security, the popular GLS Pro-Fit Model 578 and inside-the-waistband Model 575 are now available. With an ergonomically placed retention lever on the top of the holster, the gun is released by the middle finger as the user takes a firing grip on the gun, resulting in an easy and natural draw. Upon re-holstering, the gun easily locks into place and is secured.
Both 7TS and GLS models are constructed of Safariland’s proprietary Safari-Seven™ material – a DuPont nylon blend virtually impervious to the elements, such as heat, cold, or water. This unique material is functional in high heat and low cold with tolerances of below 50 degrees Fahrenheit to above 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Additionally, it is scratch-resistant and won’t damage a firearm’s finish.
Rounding off the wide selection of holsters for the new Glock handguns, offered in the Bianchi brand are several holster models in premium grade, full-grain leather and AccuMold® 1000-denier ballistic weave fabric. Traditional leather offerings include open-top and thumb snap belt models, a paddle model and the compact Foldaway™ holster that rides flat on the belt when the holster is removed. In all-weather ballistic weave, users can select the Model 4584 Evader™, with FingerLok™ retention, the AccuMold 7001 Thumbsnap and the AccuMold 7120 Defender™ duty holster.
In addition to this abundant selection of holsters already available, Safariland is expecting to release additional fits for Gen5 models including the Model 18, 1051, 1053, 6378, 070, 0705, 200/202, 2005, 6280 series non-light and 6004 series non-light in October.
