2016 USCCA Concealed Carry Expo April 29th – May 1st in Atlanta, Georgia
(ArmsVault.com) – Looking for firearms information, training, and equipment? With a comprehensive lineup of retailers, manufacturers, and “living classroom” seminars, the USCCA Concealed Carry Expo promises to deliver services, support, and solutions for experiencing and embracing the concealed-carry lifestyle. The only event dedicated to the concealed carry lifestyle will be held, this weekend, April 29 – May 1, 2016, at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta, Georgia. The Expo will feature an information-packed, three-day consumer show with seminars, demonstrations, a concealed-carry fashion show, live-fire shooting range and a full line-up of world-class guest speakers including Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, Jr. and Col. David Grossman.
“We’ll have booths, vendors, and trainers so guests can get their hands on new CCW products and wrap their minds around all the information we can pack into the event,” stated Kevin Michalowski, Executive Editor of Concealed Carry Magazine. “Holster makers, gun makers, concealed carry apparel and accessory makers will all be present, as well.”
Also on site will be a live-fire range where adult guests have the opportunity to test out firearms provided by various sponsors including Glock, Inc., Springfield Armory, Kahr Firearms, FNH USA, Bond Arms, Walther Arms, Inc. and Heizer Defense. For a small fee, participants will receive shooting instruction and feel what it’s like to fire the pistol of their choice.
Show attendees will be encouraged to attend a variety of free presentations and seminars including Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, Jr.’s keynote opening speech to take place at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, April 29. A Legal Use of Force discussion takes place Saturday at 8:00 a.m. with Attorney Andrew Branca, who specializes in use-of-force law. The Women’s Panel Discussion on concealed carry and firearms will be held on Sunday, May 1 at 11:45 a.m.
Other free seminars include presentations from USCCA Senior Staff Writer and Well Armed Woman Chapter Leader Beth Alcazar. Beth will present “Why Women Hate Guns: Encouraging Women To Accept, Own, Use, & Carry Firearms,” USCCA’s Chief Instructor, Michael Martin, will present on school shootings, and George Harris, co-founder of the SIG Academy and president and CEO of International Firearms Consultants, will present on the topics that must be considered for those who are new to firearms or everyday concealed carry. “All of these information sessions are absolutely free with your paid admission to the Expo,” Michalowski explained. “Our goal is to provide anyone interested in self-defense and personal protection the best possible information and training. Keeping responsibly armed Americans well informed is the basis of firearms safety and personal freedom.”
In addition to training seminars and aisles of great products and information, the Concealed Carry Expo will host a fashion show Saturday night from 6-8 p.m. This unique and highly anticipated event will showcase new designs in concealed-carry fashions and accessories for both men and women. Limited tickets are still available, order online in advance. According to Marilyn Smolenski, Director of the fashion show and owner of Nickel & Lace, “The Firearms and Fashion Show is a truly unique event, sharing not only firearms safety and knowledge but also high-quality, concealed-carry products. This is a fun and effective way for people to see how the newest products can be incorporated into their everyday lives.”
