The Montana Rifle Co. Extreme X2 Rifle Named One of the Top New Hunting Products by Field & Stream
MRC does it again! The Extreme X2 Rifle is a hard-working, all-weather hunting rifle set in the brand new Montana Rifle Co. synthetic stock.
Kalispell, Mont. (October 2015) – (ArmsVault.com) – Montana Rifle Company (MRC) has been awarded the prestigious Field & Stream Magazine’s “Best of the Best” award for the second time in MRC’s short history. The Extreme X2 Rifle was named one of the top new products for this hunting season by the editors of Field & Stream.
The Extreme X2 Rifle features a 100% stainless steel barreled action bedded into the new MRC X2 stock. The MRC X2 is a carbon fiber Kevlar® reinforced stock with a strengthened core. The stainless steel swivel studs and actions screws are set in Kevlar reinforced aluminum pillars and the recoil pads are also reinforced with a Kevlar reinforced wood core, making the slim lined MRC stock one of the toughest and most rugged stocks on the market. The stock is also finished with a matte paint preventing any glare.
MRC first won the “Best of the Best” award in 2011 for their American Standard Rifle, which was the first rifle MRC produced on the new production line. Since then, the company has grown in size, added employees and increased sales. “As we continue to grow, our customers have demanded innovative products, and we have answered those demands!” Jeff Sipe, MRC VP of sales and marketing stated. “The all new MRC X2 stock took years of design and development to perfect. We didn’t want to bring it to market until we knew it was made of the best materials, by the best people and that the design was seriously tested and proofed.”
David Wisher, VP of operations added, “This award is a testament to the work our people have put into making this the best product they possibly could. There has been a lot of time and effort from our entire team to make this happen and we are extremely proud of them all.”
The Extreme X2 Rifle is available in 36 different calibers (including the V2 line) in both short and long action with right and left-hand variations in each caliber. The new line has been well received in the media as the most versatile synthetic stock line up of any manufacturer.
