(October 2015) – (ArmsVault.com) – Montana Rifle Company (MRC) has been awarded the prestigious Field & Stream Magazine’s “Best of the Best” award for the second time in MRC’s short history. The Extreme X2 Rifle was named one of the top new products for this hunting season by the editors of Field & Stream.
The Extreme X2 Rifle features a 100% stainless steel barreled action bedded into the new MRC X2 stock. The MRC X2 is a carbon fiber Kevlar® reinforced stock with a strengthened core. The stainless steel swivel studs and actions screws are set in Kevlar reinforced aluminum pillars and the recoil pads are also reinforced with a Kevlar reinforced wood core, making the slim lined MRC stock one of the toughest and most rugged stocks on the market. The stock is also finished with a matte paint preventing any glare.
MRC first won the “Best of the Best” award in 2011 for their American Standard Rifle, which was the first rifle MRC produced on the new production line.
