Adjustable Objective (AO):
An adjustable objective (AO) riflecope features a dial around the objective bell of the scope, or a knob on the side of the turret housing, that allows the user to adjust the scope’s parallax to a certain distance. In other words, the shooter can bring very near or distant targets into the same focal plane as their reticle in order to eliminate parallax and provide the best possible focus on the target.
