The New Bear Edge 4 ½” Assisted Lockback Built for Anything
Jacksonville, Alabama – (ArmsVault.com) – Bear Edge, a Bear & Son Cutlery brand, adds a lightweight assisted open lockback knife to their 2019 roster with the Model 61117.
Designed to accomplish everyday tasks and provide years of no-fail service, the new Bear Edge 61117 is an affordable knife that offers several premium features. An easy-to-maintain and sharpen 440 stainless steel blade promptly opens with a simple brush of a thumb stud and holds its edge for extended use between sharpening. The lockback mechanism ensures positive cutting power and safe operation for the most demanding tasks.
The 61117’s aggressive appearance comes courtesy of the anodized aluminum handles’ unique shape, which is designed to drive hands into a firm grip, even when wearing gloves. For additional features, Bear Edge added jimping along the entire top and bottom half of the handles, a pronounced guard for added support and control during tough cutting chores, and a reversible pocket clip for left- or right-side carry.
The 61117 measures 4.5-inch closed and its taper-ground, 3-inch 440 stainless steel clip-style blade opens to an overall length of 7-1/2 inches. Total weight is a light 4.0 ounces.
