John “Tig” Tiegen Supports Fundraiser for Veteran

(Colorado Springs, CO) –  (ArmsVault.com) – John “Tig” Tiegen, best known for his heroic role in fighting terrorists during the 2012 attack on the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, is supporting a fundraiser to benefit a USMC Veteran and his grandson.

TIG and his non-profit, Beyond the Battlefield, is joining forces with Omar “Crispy” Avila and Heroes Sports to assist in fundraising efforts and hands-on clean up for the property of retired GySgt. Larry Newton. Newton is a USMC Vietnam Veteran and dedicated family man. After losing his wife and daughter, he took full custody of his grandson. Now at age 67, with declining health, Newton is in need of assistance to improve living conditions for himself and his grandson. In addition to the fundraising page, TIG teamed up with Outlaw Ordnance to design a one-of-a-kind custom engraved M1 .30 Carbine for auction to benefit Newton’s cause. The engravings are made from actual pictures taken during the Vietnam war. On the butt-stock is legendary Marine Sniper GySGT Carlos Hathcock zeroing in on one of his 93 confirmed kills.
