HAVA Traveling Class for Learn to Shoot Again Program

Honored American Veterans Afield - HAVA

HAVA Launches First Traveling Class
for “Learn to Shoot Again” Program

Nashville, TN – November 7, 2016 – (ArmsVault.com) Honored American Veterans Afield (HAVA) announces the completion of the first Mobile Training Team Class of LEARN TO SHOOT AGAIN (LTSA).  This program provides advanced firearms training to the most severely challenged of military veterans and active duty military who have to learn new shooting techniques due to their injuries. Hosted by Royal Range, the LTSA team conducted a complete Adaptive Pistol Course, an Introduction to Firearms (employing the Sig Brace), and an Introduction to Adaptive Rifle. The use of an on-site classroom and state of the art indoor range created an opportune environment to train two amputees, one student with a severe back injury and another with a significant head injury.

HAVA Learn to Shoot Again Program

As LTSA continues to train veterans, they are proud to travel to where the students are and bring them the most highly skilled instructors, who themselves have overcome significant injuries, and understand the students’ unique needs. Using training techniques structured to each individual student, LTSA will continue monthly programs in Florida and San Antonio and add local regularly scheduled events at Royal Range in Nashville to support the students already trained and those who will follow their lead.

The LTSA Mobile Training Team is the resource for veterans around the country to receive the unique skills only fellow injured veterans understand and can provide.  HAVA’s support will be bringing these teams to disabled military veterans where they need it most, close to home.  Look for LTSA events in your area and LTSA Instructor Teams competing in shooting sports near you.
