Team Stoeger’s impressive midseason run began at August’s Rockcastle Pro Am 3-Gun where Tim Yackley finished first out of a field of 181 in the Tac Optics Division. Teammates Ryan Muller (fifth place out of 28 in the Open Division) and Becky Yackley (Third Lady) also added to the team’s overall success with their Top-10 finishes.

September began with members of Team Stoeger competing at the FN 3-Gun Championships. Becky Yackley earned High Lady for her performance at theevent, staged at Peacemaker National Training Center in Glengary, West Virginia, while Tim Yackley finished third in a highly competitive field of 238 shooters.

Generation 3-Gun saw Team Stoeger notch an additional pair of Top-10 finishes, with Tim Yackley winning third place in the Tac Optics Division competing against a field of 171 shooters. Becky Yackley finished 34th in the Tac Optics Division and earned Third Lady in an event marked by inclement weather and less-than-ideal shooting conditions.

“Despite the rain, mud and messy conditions, our Stoeger shotguns never stopped running well,” Becky Yackley said. “And one of the benefits of having a whole family of 3-Gun shooters is that everyone was there to help push our van out of the mud.”

Team Stoeger shooters capped their impressive month of September with a return to the Peacemaker National Training Center for the NRA World Shooting Championships. Becky Yackley finished as Fourth Lady in the Stock Professional Division, while husband and teammate Mark Yackley finished second out of 67 in the Stock Professional Division. Ryan Muller and Tim Yackley (fourth and eighth place in the Stock Professional Division, respectively) also notched Top-10 finishes.

“The World Shooting Championship is the best determining factor, with 12 different disciplines and all of the gear and ammo provided, of who is the best all-around shooter out there,” Muller said. “While I didn’t win, placing among the competitive shooting legends who were in the field, people who have been winning and setting records for the last 30 years, was very fulfilling.”

Tim Yackley will look to add to his 2016 win totals at the upcoming 3GN Pro Series at Virginia International Raceway. Running October 7-9, Yackley will be facing 16 of the best and fastest 3-gunners in the nation for a shot at a $50,000 prize.
