Stoeger P3000 Wins Great Buy Award from Outdoor Life

ACCOKEEK, Md. (June 15, 2016) – (ArmsVault.com) – Stoeger’s new P3000 shotgun continues the brand’s reputation for producing reliable, high-quality shotguns at accessible price points. With an MSRP of $299, the P3000 continues to garner accolades from hunters and shooters alike, including a prestigious award from one of the world’s foremost outdoor publications.

In its June/July double issue, Outdoor Life named the Stoeger P3000 the winner of the Great Buy Award based on the shotgun’s performance during the magazine’s annual Gun Test. Touting the P3000 as, “A ton of shotgun for a modest price,” Outdoor Life’s field of testers appreciated the no-frills, utilitarian durability of Stoeger’s latest offering.

“It is a basic, tough-as-nails pump-action shotgun that you can take anywhere. And should you manage through some feat of heroic abuse to actually break it irrevocably, you’ll only be out $299,” the Outdoor Life review states. “Like a charging gorilla, this beast is surprisingly nimble and quick. It pointed well and cycled shells quickly when we had multiple birds or targets in the air.

“For the money, it was the best shotgun in the test and won our Great Buy award for 2016.”

Proving that durability and all-around performance doesn’t have to cost a fortune, the new Stoeger P3000 sports a timeless pump-action design for all-purpose use. Capable of handling 12-gauge shotshells – from light, 2 3/4-inch field loads to heavy, 3-inch magnums – the newest addition to the Stoeger lineup features a precision-machined, anodized receiver and an easy-to-access cross-bolt safety.

The P3000’s black, synthetic butt stock and matching fore end feature pronounced checkering for a solid, secure grip and easy operation of the pump action while a butt pad caps the butt stock to lessen felt recoil. Additional features include integrated swivel attachment points for quick and easy sling attachment and a red-bar front sight atop the 28-inch ventilated rib barrel for faster target acquisition.
