Shooting Industry’s April Issue Focuses On SHOT Show New Products For Dealers
(ArmsVault.com) – With an in-depth review of the 2016 SHOT Show, a New Product Showcase featuring over 50 companies and several other new product-driven columns and features, the April issue of Shooting Industry is teeming with helpful information for retailers.
“Upbeat” and “energized” were two words frequently used to describe SHOT Show, which had over 64,000 attendees — the second highest in show history. Shooting Industry Editor Jade Molde reports how attendees responded to the show, as well as identifying the success of the SHOT Show NEXT Pavilion and Industry Day at the Range.
In “Show Stoppers!” dealers identify potential top sellers in firearms, optics and accessories. Describing SIG SAUER’s new offerings, Marc Adler of Machine Gun America in Kissimmee, Fla., said the SIG P210 stood out, “It’s really nice to see an American-made Swiss classic. I like seeing things go back to the shooting sports of old. It’s also great to see SIG has entered the 10mm market; they’re responding to niche customer demands.”
In a special feature, FMG Online Editor Mark Kakkuri found six products that retailers “may have missed” at SHOT Show from companies like Elftmann Tactical, QuickSafes and LaserMax.
Other editorial highlights of the April issue include an interview with Mark DeYoung, Vista Outdoor chairman and CEO, on Vista’s impressive recent growth, an overview of stand-out self-defense products introduced at SHOT Show, insight on how to seamlessly create an online store to boost sales and a new B2B-focused column, which highlights new B2B partnerships that are building business in the industry. Additionally, the New Product Showcase highlights products from 55 manufacturers.
