Dead Air Mask .22 Suppressor Named Editor’s Choice by Shooting Sports Retailer

“The Mask is just a hoot to shoot.”

Lawrenceville, Ga. (December 2015) – (ArmsVault.com) – Dead Air Armament is proud to announce that its Mask .22 Suppressor has received the honor of being named Editor’s Choice by Shooting Sports Retailer magazine in its December 2015 issue.

“The Mask is just a hoot to shoot. We’ve run it for weeks on a Smith & Wesson M&P 22C using an EWK Arms 1/28-inch thread adaptor with great results and we’ve shot it with a Plinker Arms .22 upper on our AR lower to the grins and giggles of new AR shooters at the range,” said Christian Lowe, the editor of Shooting Sports Retailer.

In addition to being able to suppress a rifle to about 115 decibels, the Mask .22 Suppressor was praised for being durable, lightweight and easy-to-maintain. Lowe was particularly impressed with the Mask .22s sealed baffle construction. The .22 LR round is notoriously dirty and gunky and has been known to “weld up” a suppressor. The Mask .22’s sealed baffle design prevents this from happening and makes the suppressor easy-to-clean and maintain.

“When we designed the Mask .22 we didn’t cut any corners or take any shortcuts. I designed it with the comfort and enjoyment of the shooter as my first and only goal. I’m glad that Shooting Sports Retailer enjoyed our can enough that they named it Editor’s Choice,” commented Mike Pappas, founder of Dead Air.
