When I get a new AR-15, the first thing I like to do at the range is get the backup iron sights zeroed. Unfortunately, the sights I ordered aren’t due in until next week, and I’m anxious to get this Windham Weaponry SRC to the range. So, in hopes of putting some rounds through the SRC tomorrow, I just mounted the ATN X-Sight on to the rifle.
Normally I wouldn’t waste the time and ammo sighting in a riflescope until I know that the iron sights are zeroed. But one of the great things about the ATN X-Sight is that it is extremely quick to zero, taking only a round or two. So, weather permitting, tomorrow I should be able to report on my first rounds fired through the Windham Weaponry SRC.
