Nikon Adds Two New Rimfire Riflescopes
(ArmsVault.com) – Nikon has announced the release of two new riflescopes that are specifically designed and engineered for the .22 Long Rifle caliber. The PROSTAFF RIMFIRE II series comes in 3-9×40 and 4-12×40 and features Nikon’s BDC 150 reticle.
The PROSTAFF RIMFIRE II riflescopes have Nikon’s Fully Multicoated Lenses that deliver a superior sight picture. Sighting-in is made easy with ¼-inch @ 50 yard adjustments and Spring-Loaded Instant Zero-Reset turrets allow you to reset your turrets to zero after sighting in, making in-the-field adjustments incredibly simple. The PROSTAFF RIMFIRE II 3-9×40 features a 50-yard parallax setting, while the 4-12×40 has a 75-yard parallax setting.
The PROSTAFF RIMFIRE II is optimized for use with Nikon’s Spot On™ Ballistic Match Technology, which provides users with exact aiming points on the BDC reticle for any load or ammunition at a specified range. It contains the ballistic information for more than 5,000 different loads and can even be used with custom handloads. With more than one million registered users, Spot On has become the number one choice for hunters and shooters throughout the world and is available as an app for iPhone®, iPad® and Android™ and is also available for free at NikonSportOptics.com/spoton.
The PROSTAFF RIMFIRE II is fully waterproof, fogproof and shockproof, and is backed by Nikon’s Limited Lifetime Warranty. The suggested retail price for the PROSTAFF RIMFIRE II is $119.95 for the 3-9×40 and is $139.95 for the 4-12×40.
