NSSF Sponsors VIP Tent at 2015 Texas Firearms Festival

The National Shooting Sports Foundation Targets “Guns 2.0” at Texas Firearms Festival

Austin, Texas (August 2015) – (ArmsVault.com) – The National Shooting Sports Foundation may be best known for representing outdoorsmen and the traditional shooting sports, as their logo depicts. While the NSSF continues the fight for hunters’ rights, access to public lands and the firearms industry’s interests, the trade association is looking more and more to introduce itself to “Guns 2.0”: younger, ethnically diverse shooters who didn’t come to firearms through hunting or the more traditional means. To that end, the NSSF is sponsoring the VIP tent at the 2015 Texas Firearms Festival on November 14 and 15 at Best of the West Shooting Sports in Liberty Hill . . .

“The Texas Firearms Festival is an excellent opportunity to raise our profile with this key demographic,” NSSF Public Affairs Director Michael Bazinet says. “We want people new to shooting to know the NSSF is working hard to promote the lawful commerce of firearms and educate consumers on safety, technique and shooting options. At the same time, we’re looking forward to touching base with the wide range of firearms manufacturers showing and selling their products at the Festival.”

The NSSF-branded VIP tent will offer VIP ticket holders free food and drink and a luxury comfort station. (VIP ticket holders also get preferred parking, an hour of VIP-only range time, Fast Pass access to the front of any line and exclusive use of an onsite shuttle.) “The VIP tent’s a comfortable setting to take a break from shooting to discuss politics, commerce or guns with firearms industry folks,” Bazinet says. “Or just relax and hit reset.”

VIP tickets to the 2015 Texas Firearms Festival cost $275. They’re strictly limited to 250 per day. Click here to purchase VIP or standard shooter tickets to the 2015 Texas Firearms Festival.
