(ArmsVault.com) – IN 1897 Winchester introduced a pump action shotgun with an external hammer known as the Model 97. It became the most popular shotgun on the American market with over a million sold before it was discontinued in 1957.
The IAC Model 97 is an exact reproduction of that famous shotgun except for a few internal changes necessary to improve performance and safety for use in the modern world.
The IAC Model 97 features a 20” barrel chambered for 12 gauge 2-3/4” shells, a 5-shot magazine and genuine American Walnut stocks. The original Winchester Model 97 and the IAC Model 97 are both approved for cowboy action competition shooting by the Single Action Shooting Society.
