Comp-Tac’s Randi Rogers Crowned U.S. National Champ At USPSA Production Nationals
HOUSTON, Texas – (ArmsVault.com) – Team Comp-Tac‘s Randi Rogers continues her 2015 season by taking the United States Practical Shooting Association’s (USPSA) Ladies Production National Championship this past weekend, August 6-8, in Barry, Ill.
Facing off against over 367 competitors from around the world, Rogers claimed the U.S. National title finishing behind Maria Guschina of Russia who was the High Overall Lady in the match. Rogers finished with a final score of 1516.8720 points placing her over 80% of the overall Production Division Champion’s score.
“This year was one of my best matches, as I have never finished at such a high percentage to the competitors overall,” commented Rogers. “I had the opportunity to put some new gear to the ultimate test – a national competition – and tested the new Single Magazine Pouches with PLM Attachment from Comp-Tac, as well as a new custom fit barrel from Apex Tactical Specialties in my Smith and Wesson M&P Pro. I was delighted when everything worked superbly and carried me through to another national title win.”
Fellow Team Comp-Tac shooter Gordon Carrell also competed with a high score of 1561.0182 and a 34th place overall finish.
Next up for Team Comp-Tac, Rogers and Carrell will compete in the USPSA Area 8 Championship in Fredericksburg, Va., August 29-30.
