ZEISS Recognizes Members of Its Elite Sales Force with an A-Team Award
NORTH CHESTERFIELD, VA., April 20, 2015 – Carl Zeiss Sports Optics, the world’s leading manufacturer in high performance sports optics, is pleased to announce the outstanding achievements of their top sales representatives. The A-Team awards were announced by Mike Jensen, President of Carl Zeiss Sports Optics, at the 2015 NRA National Convention held in Nashville, TN.
The A-Team award is a beautiful 10oz pure silver 50 caliber bullet engraved with the ZEISS logo and the recipient’s name.
Western regional honors went to Mark Barry of the Total Sales and Marketing team.
“Mark was exemplary this year, worked hard to grow existing accounts and constantly looked for new accounts to develop in his territory. In the process he personally set up 4 new accounts, one of which he developed into a six figure customer in their first year of doing business with ZEISS,” said Barton Dobbs, Western Regional Sales Manager for Carl Zeiss Sports Optics. “Additionally, Mark’s attention to detail and follow-through on all tasks, from the smallest to the most significant, further solidified his spot on the A-Team this year.”
Eastern regional honors went to Matt Monks of the Murski-Breeding Sales team.
“Matt covers the vital portion of Southeastern US and through persistence, tenacity, and dedication to the ZEISS brand, he was able to overcome unforeseen hurdles in one of the toughest years of the industry, to grow his YOY Victory numbers by 41%,” said Laden Force, Eastern Regional Sales Manager for Carl Zeiss Sports Optics. “Every day, Matt rises early ready to push beyond the standard needs of his customers, to ensure that their expectations are met and that his lines, inclusive of ZEISS, are at the top of their mind. Congratulations to Matt Monks.”
Key Accounts honors went to Paul Wood of the Murski-Breeding Sales team.
“Paul was able to grow the business at one of his key accounts by 200% in 2014,” said Kevin Winscher, Sales Director – Key Accounts for Carl Zeiss Sports Optics. “He gained ZEISS product placement in circulars, on in-store self-merchandising displays, and in several top magazines.”
