Midwest Gun Works Inc. (MGW) Signs as Presenting Sponsor for
3-Stage Tactical Pistol Shooting Competition
A fundraising event for the Mineral Area College (MAC)
Law Enforcement Academy to be held March 28, 2015.
Pevely, Mo. (March 2015) – Midwest Gun Works Inc., (MGW), a one-stop shop for firearm parts, accessories and gunsmithing services, is pleased to announce it has signed on as a presenting sponsor for the 3-Stage Tactical Pistol Shooting Competition, a fundraising event for the Mineral Area College (MAC) Law Enforcement Academy. The competition will be held March 28, 2015 at Asymmetric Solutions in Farmington, Missouri.
The MAC Foundation and Asymmetric Solutions are partnering to raise money to buy an Interactive Firearms Training Simulator for law enforcement academy recruits and local officers. Participation in the event helps provide suitable training programs that will enable recruits and local officers to effectively render crucial use-of-force decisions.
The 3-Stage Tactical Pistol Shooting Competition kicks off at 8:30 am with a range brief and then rolls into staggered starts for competitors beginning at 9 am. Recommended calibers include 9mm semi-automatic to .45. Round count needed for the competition is 60. The competition will take place at three shooting stations to present the realistic use of a handgun, as needed in a tactical environment. Co-stars of National Geographic’s flagship TV Show, “Ultimate Survival Alaska,” Grady Powell and Jared Ogden, will be in attendance.

The entry fee is $50 for the general public and $25 for active / retired law enforcement or military personnel. This event is open to all competitors over the age of 21.
