The Sako TRG 42 27″ Green Rifle .338 Lapua is a true long range precision tool for Special Forces or competition. The rifle can be equipped with various accessories to fulfill the demands of tactical snipers. The Sako TRG-42 comes in a fully adjustable high-tech aluminum reinforced composite stock. The solid vault-like action is cold hammer-forged from special steel alloy. It includes integral 17mm axial scope mounting rails with integral recoil stop-slots on the top of the receiver. The sturdy bolt with three locking lugs feeds rounds unfailingly from the centerline of the detachable staggered 2-row magazine. Reliable feed with various ammunition types. The Sako Nylon Shooting Sling with Swivels measures 40mm (1 ½”) wide and comes complete with military hook and latch style swivels for easy attachment and removal. Owners of Sako hunting rifles can enjoy the unique advantages of the Sako Optilock scope mounts. The idea is simple: you need to sight your rifle in only once.
