FMG PUBLICATIONS AIMS TO CONQUER THE DIGITAL WORLD WITH SHARI LEGATE AS VIDEO PRODUCER AND SHOOTING SPORTS ANALYST
San Diego, CA – FMG Publications, the umbrella brand of internationally renowned print and digital titles: GUNS Magazine, American Handgunner and Shooting Industry, as well as eight other Special Interest titles, promotes Shari LeGate as Video Producer and Shooting Sports Analyst.
Shari LeGate will leave the binds of FMG Special Project Management behind to invest fully in building the FMG video brand as Video Producer and Shooting Sports Analyst. Ms. LeGate will be responsible for capturing, editing and producing exclusive video materials as well as producing client requested video projects in conjunction with the Advertising Sales Department. This strategic move has been in development for two years as FMG has been positioning themselves to be the resource to the industry and shooting community. The need to expand video production comes from the increased demand of their readers. LeGate will continue with her column in GUNS Magazine called “Game On” which covers competitive sports with the “who”, “what”, and “why” as well as “how” to get into ‘The Game’ of shooting sports. She also contributes to an online column that is also called “Game On” that ties into recipes for Wildgame and hunting. Ms. Legate will continue to capture content-rich media at SHOT Show as well as other industry related events. As another facet of her responsibilities, FMG is in production on a new online weekly series. Making it’s debut in first quarter 2015, the series hosted by Ms. LeGate will be tailored toward industry news, product reviews and shooting sports updates.
“We are extremely excited for Shari as she evolves into this new role. Her dynamic personality and in-depth knowledge of our industry makes her a perfect fit. We have an ever-changing face of media, and FMG is dedicated to providing accurate and informative information in a fun and entertaining way. This is going to be a very important component of FMG as we continue to strive to create multiple touch points for our valued readers”, comments Randy Molde, FMG Vice President of Business Development.
