Overland Park, Kan. — Bushnell, a trusted provider of long-range, precision optics, has announced a title sponsorship agreement with the Precision Rifle Series (PRS). Backed by a 65-year history in sports optics, the professional-grade Bushnell Elite Tactical line has become a preferred optic among long-range shooters and competitors alike.
Established in 2011, the Precision Rifle Series was formed to assist in the organization, promotion and growth of the precision rifle community. The series promotes fun and fair competition using series scoring to record the status, profile and ranking of competitors across the nation. This championship-style competition includes a PRS match series and a year-end championship match reserved for the top season series finishers.
“We’re honored by the commitment Bushnell has made to precision rifle and the shooting sports community through its support of the Precision Rifle Series. Through avenues like the Club Series and Long Range Hunter Series, we have some great opportunities to introduce new competitors to the sport and continue the growth of precision rifle.” said Rich Emmons, Precision Rifle Series president.
In addition to the series sponsorship, Bushnell is the title sponsor of the Precision Rifle Series Championship Match. Hosted September 26 to 28 in Frost, Texas, qualification for the PRS Championship Match requires a top 50 PRS regular season finish or a top 20 Long Range Hunter (LRH) series finish. With a $20,000 cash purse and a prize table stocked with nearly $100,000 in merchandise, the PRS Championship Match promises to be one of the most competitive events of the season.
Every product in the Elite Tactical series is not only covered by the Bushnell limited lifetime warranty, the entire product line is also backed with the new one-year, no-risk Bushnell Bulletproof Guarantee. The 100-percent money back guarantee is valid up until one year from the original date of purchase.
