Milwaukee – May 02, 2014 – Advanced Technology International® (ATI), a leading manufacturer of U.S. made firearm accessories, is now shipping Scorpion X2 Revolver Grips for large-frame Taurus revolvers.
ATI’s new Scorpion X2 Revolver Grips were debuted by the Wisconsin company at SHOT in January and feature the company’s patented Scorpion recoil reduction material. The new line of revolver grips are now available for large-frame Taurus revolvers, with a small-frame version coming next month.
The Taurus revolvers that ATI has listed as compatible with their new grip are as follows: Taurus® Model 17 Tracker 17, Model 992 Tracker 22, Model 627 Tracker 357, Model 45-410 Judge, and the Model 44C Tracker 44.
These grips feature specific contoured geography for repeatable hand placement, which places the shooters’ hand in optimal position for quick and correct sight alignment. The grips also elevate the index finger for ideal trigger placement as well.
Another aspect of ATI’s new grip is a 1911 inspired rear tang that was designed to assist in pushing the firearm’s recoil rearward, as opposed to upwards with the muzzle, thus giving the shooter more control.
The Scorpion X2 Revolver Grips will be backed by ATI’s limited lifetime warranty and can be purchased on the company’s website www.atigunstocks.com and will be shipping to select stores this year.
