Handguard

Handguard:

A handguard is a guard that attaches to the front of a firearm and encompasses (at least partially) the firearm’s barrel. The handguard provides protection from the barrel, which can become hot when firing. Many handguards are designed to allow attachments to be placed on the firearm, such as optics, grips, weapon lights, lasers, and more. Handguards come in various lengths.
