Ruger to Sponsor A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League

(ArmsVault.com) – Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) proudly announces its support of A Girl & A Gun Women’s Shooting League (AG & AG). In its first year of sponsorship of AG & AG, Ruger joins as a Diamond+ Sponsor of the organization’s two largest events in 2019, the National Conference and Fall Festival Multi-Gun Challenge.

Ruger A Girl & A Gun

“We are proud to support this empowering organization,” said Ruger President & CEO Chris Killoy. “It is a privilege to contribute to their mission of providing training and firearms education to women, and we wholeheartedly support organizations designed to foster women’s participation in shooting sports.”

The 7th Annual National Conference kicks off this weekend from April 11-14 at Reveille Peak Ranch in Burnet, Texas. A sold-out crowd of 450 women shooters will rotate through six to eight modular training sessions during the conference. Ruger is the sponsor of the long-range training session, which will be taught by newly signed Team Ruger competitor Tina Martin.

“Ruger is a perfect fit for our organization,” says AG & AG Founder Julianna Crowder. “Their diverse product line serves our mission of training women in all aspects of shooting, from self-defense to competition. We are looking forward to highlighting their unique product mix in disciplines that our members love, such as Precision Rifle, Steel Challenge and Cowboy Action.”

The AG & AG Fall Festival will take place from October 1-7 at the Rockcastle Shooting Center in Park City, Kentucky. This week-long event includes training clinics, a two-day multi-gun match and a one-day multisport match that will showcase much of the Ruger® lineup. Each stage of the Multisport Challenge provides a unique experience: Pistol, Steel Challenge, Rimfire, Carbine/PCC, Flying Clays, Precision Rifle and Cowboy Action stages, allowing competitors to experience a variety of sports and compete for great prizes.
