TPG GEN 2 Spec-Ops Assault Pack Receives High Marks from NTOA Member Tested and Recommended Program

NTOA Testing Officers gave the SAP3-G2 high scores for its versatility, size and design

Boynton Beach, Fla. (September 2015) – (ArmsVault.com) – Tacprogear (TPG), a leading manufacturer of tactical equipment used by professionals around the globe, is proud to announce that the GEN 2 Spec-Ops Assault Pack 3 (SAP3-G2) received a 4.41 out of a possible 5 from the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) Member Tested and Recommended Program. TPG has the privilege of displaying the prestigious NTOA Member Tested and Recommended Logo in its marketing materials.

The testing officer from Colorado liked how versatile all the pockets and configurations of the bag were. This particular officer loaded the pack with all the items he currently carries in different bags, including a breaching kit, improvised explosive device (IED) dismount kit and cold weather kit; the SAP3-G2 fit it all. He remarked, “With each configuration the Spec-Ops Assault Pack seemed to hold things together and keep things pretty organized. While loaded, it rides pretty well over the shoulders and the back pad works well while wearing without armor, and the shoulder straps extend nicely while wearing with armor.”

The Pennsylvanian testing officer was impressed with how well-made the pack was, commenting that it was “large enough to hold a plate carrier or tactical vest; my sample held a helmet and plate carrier without a problem.” He went on to say that “despite being heavily loaded for long periods and treated roughly, the pack’s stitching remained intact.” The tarpaulin bottom was a “great idea,” the officer thought, because “not only does it protect your gear when you put the pack down on wet or snowy ground, but adds stiffness so that the pack stands upright more easily.”

This easily customizable pack includes several new features for Gen 2, including a reinforced padded handle, loop for ID patches and a new foam pad design in the back. Highly comfortable padded shoulder straps, a quick release waist belt and a durable tarpaulin bottom material were employed for use in adverse conditions. The SAP3-G2 also features two large storage compartments and two zipper pulls on the main compartment for easy access to the inside of the bag. The pack also features two external pockets designed to fit water bottles, as well as a compartment for carrying a hydration bladder and an opening at the top of the bag for the hydration tube. Four external side compression straps help bear the load and avoid any additional stress on the zippers. The SAP3-G2 is available in Black, Coyote Tan and OD Green. MSRP $220.
