A quick update on our Ruger 10/22 testing… A few days ago I picked up a Ruger BX-25 Magazine, which will definitely add some fun to our range trips. Unfortunately, this 25 round magazine is a big reminder that I have joined the In Search of 22LR Ammo Club.
I’ll be honest, until this 10/22 arrived, I really didn’t give the 22LR ammo shortage much thought. Well, that has officially changed! The three boxes of CCI 22LR shown in the above photo were purchased at Walmart today. They had close to 50 boxes on the shelf, but limited me to three. But, I guess that is much better than the laugh I normally receive when I ask if they have any 22LR in stock!
So, I think it is only appropriate that I now formally apologize to all those who have been complaining about the 22LR ammo shortage. I have underestimated your pain, and I am sorry.
