Zombies in the Heartland:
Zombies in the Heartland is an annual 3-gun match. This shooting event is held at the Heartland Public Shooting Park in Alda, Nebraska (just minutes from Grand Island, Nebraska). Using common 3-Gun rules, the event features several competitive stages with zombie themed targets, including many reactive targets. Participants are required to compete with a pistol, rifle and shotgun.
The event also has multiple side matches that allow competitors to experience things such as firing a full-auto firearm, shooting exploding targets, and engaging targets that are beyond those commonly seen in regular matches.
Zombies in the Heartland typically attracts shooters from across the country, as well as some traveling from outside the United States.
