Iconic Brand Sends Support, Staff and Team to Championship Match

SPRINGFIELD, Mass., September 29, 2016 — (ArmsVault.com) – Smith & Wesson Corp. announced that it has signed on as premier sponsor of the 2016 NSSF Rimfire Challenge World Championship, which will be held October 14 -16 in Woodville, Alabama and will feature 300 qualifying shooters vying for the ultimate title.

Rimfire shooting is one of the fastest growing gun sports in the United States and the Rimfire Challenge .22 rifle and pistol program introduces new entrants to shooting sports with a fun and natural opportunity to compete. Engineered to act as feeder matches, NSSF Rimfire Challenge gives new shooters a great foundation for participating in the Steel Challenge, USPSA, IDPA, and 3-Gun events.

Having an iconic manufacturer like Smith & Wesson involved with the event encourages more participation. We couldn’t be prouder to have the company sign on as our lead sponsor.”

Matches are held at various ranges across the country.
