Duff Takes Ladies Open Title at US IPSC Nationals
MIAMI – September 16, 2015 – (ArmsVault.com) – Taurus® is proud to announce another victory for Team Captain Jessie Duff. This past weekend, at the US IPSC Nationals, Duff won the Ladies Open Division and placed 13th Overall, capturing her first IPSC title in her shooting career.
Duff swiftly moved through 18 difficult stages. In this competition target points are divided by the time taken to achieve them, adding to the challenge. Competitors aim at the 15-centimeter bullseye as they try to race through each stage as quickly as possible. This difficult feat didn’t stop Duff; she moved through the stages with accuracy, knocking down targets on the course in her quest for another win. This match completed the first of four qualifier matches for the 2017 IPSC World Shoot.
“This win is a career milestone, and one I’ve been working towards for many years,” said Duff. “Competing in IPSC requires a different strategy than shooting USPSA, so to have finally earned a National IPSC title is very gratifying.”
In a competition where time is key, Duff prevailed once again to prove just how talented this Taurus Team Captain has become. Up next, Duff will be competing at the Tennessee State Championship, September 26th – 27th, 2015 in Memphis, Tennessee.
