Being a part of Samson’s Operation X paid off in a big way today with the arrival of the Samson 3.5x Magnifier with RAM Quick Flip Mount! I haven’t had time to take it to the range, but that certainly isn’t going to stop me from showing it off a little.
The RAM Quick Flip Mount is designed to fit on virtually any size rail. Although the factory setting worked on my rifle, I thought it was a bit tight. So, I used the adjustment knob to loosen up the mount. The adjustment knob was a little more difficult to turn than the demo I saw on Samson’s website, but it worked. However, that really wasn’t a big deal. Having the ability to make adjustments is definitely a plus, but I’m guessing most users will never have to use this option.
All that remains is to get this Samson 3.5x Magnifier with RAM Quick Flip Mount to the range. Stay tuned for more info.
