NAPA, CA (June 2014) – American Gunsmithing Institute (AGI), producers of the most authoritative Gunsmithing DVD courses, is pleased to offer gunsmiths and students a Design, Function and Repair: Ruger® 10/22® and Auto Pistols class with Master Gunsmith Ken Brooks. The course, to be held from July 21st through 25th, 2014, is open to current AGI Professional Gunsmithing students only. Students must have successfully completed the Handgun OR Rifle section of the course prior to registration.

Consisting of approximately 15 hours of lecture and 25 hours of hands-on time, this course covers all phases of repair of the 10/22® and .22 auto pistols. Brooks will be showing function and reliability of the gun, trigger job included.

Students will need to bring a suitable 10/22® and .22 auto pistol, a hammer, a set of punches, screwdrivers, stones, lubricant, needle files and at least one mill or mill bastard file 6″ long or longer and sharp, as well as a set of allen wrenches, to the course.

The firearm that students bring to work on should function with 100% reliability when finished and have a crisp trigger let off with no hammer follow down.
