WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (April 23 , 2014) – Colt’s Manufacturing Company sponsored-shooter Maggie Reese put in another outstanding performance over the weekend at the USPSA Multi-Gun Nationals, placing 2nd in the Lady’s Open division. The match was held April 18-20 at the Desert Sportsman Rifle and Pistol Club in Las Vegas, Nev.

“We are very proud to see Maggie do so well on the national competitive shooting stage,” said Joyce Rubino, Vice President of Marketing for Colt’s Manufacturing Company. “She is off to a great start, and with many more matches to come this year, we can’t wait to see what other successes Maggie is capable of.”

Reese, who is a two-time USPSA National Champion, utilized her Colt LE6920 for the rifle stages of the match. These stages required distance shooting up to 400 yards, as well as close-range precision shots.

“The USPSA Multi-Gun Nationals is one of my favorite matches,” said Reese. “I enjoy the technical style of the stages and the diversity in shooting skill that is required. It was exciting and challenging to shoot from ramps and ladders and to negotiate different targets such as clamshells, swingers, dropouts and no-shoots.”

Reese’s next competition will be the 3-Gun Nation Pro Series Event #3 on Sunday, May 3 at the U.S. Shooting Academy in Tulsa, Okla. Follow Colt on Facebook at Facebook.com/ColtFirearms to keep up with Maggie Reese’s competitions this year.
